Shalimar Gardens
Shalimar Garden, also known as “Shalimar Bagh,” was built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan in 1619. It is the most famous Mughal garden in Kashmir, renowned for its Persian-style architecture, elegant fountains, terraced lawns, and magnificent Chinar trees.
